Chris Morgan (Ex-Benedictum) is our new Keyboarder.

The news from the sick bay: Manny had to undergo a surgery at his right shoulder, but he started already playing the guitar again, Horst had to undergo a surgery at his left foot, next week he will get rid of his crutches.

We are still looking for a drummer, we had some rehearsals, but Mister Right did not showed up. Maybe Jojo will play the drums at some events.

Signs of Revolution will be released in March / April 2009, we are working on the CD Cover. And we are working on a tour too.

03.09.08   Drummer wanted !

It turned out that Stefan and StormHammer did not fit together as it looked like in the beginning.

So, we are looking for a drummer again.

03.08.08   New Member

Yes, Members ! Jojo left the Band, because he has to focus on his education, we are very sorry, because we lost an exceptional drummer and a good friend.

New lead guitar player is Semih Felke:

We know the ex-Mindcrime guitar player for a long period of time and finally he is a Stormy now.

We are still very busy.....

The title of the album may be "Signs of Revolution", we're not longer sure about that.

All guitar parts for the new album are recorded. drums are finished, bass in progress and almost all vox's recorded. Matthias is working on some new additional keyboard parts.

We have to  look for a new label, so we can not confirm a release date yet, but the release party will take place at 9.2.2008

He had not really arrived but already quit the job. Manuel could not manage to play in two groups.

- Manny

 Bad luck and good luck: Manny was injured again during a sword battle, this time he was skewered by a lance. But he was really lucky, after enjoying a free helicopter flight to the hospital he could immediately leave the hospital and he is already playing guitar again, without any handicaps. We agreed not to have any fancy piercing in the future !

20.12.05   Wow, long ago since we added some news, but we're still alive and busy... We started the mix down for the first 4-5 songs of the new album. We're still recording the other songs. We want to have 13 ! songs on the new record. We hope to have the recordings done in march 2006. And the first tour date for 2006 is also confirmed: 1.7.06 We will headline the Heavy Metals Calling Festival in Rosenheim.

We started the recordings to "Bridges to Eternity" our next album. This will be a conceptual album and will deal with the roman empire viewed from the prospect of rough old Germans. We plan to have 13 songs on it, together with some rune magic. This will be very strange ....

11.01.04 Lord of Darkness is finished ! but... due to some steps in the production cycle, which we don't have any influence on, it will be released at the end of April or in the beginning of May.

13.08.03 another injury: Manny was injured during a axe battle at the "Kaltenberger Ritterturnier" in July. His ring finger of the left hand had to be sewed several times. This means a break of about three weeks. By the way: Chris started playing again.

19.06.03 Chris has to undergo a surgery next week. He injured himself three weeks ago and we're very happy that the BG-Open Air went so great. He will be back very soon.

Django and StormHammer parted ways. He decided to quit StormHammer.

In the past we disagreed a lot about how things could be done and how fast things could be done.

14.08.2002:

After a break, we continue working on the new cd. In September another break will follow, the preparations for the blind guardian shows will need our affords. This means the cd will not be out before November.

19.06.2002:

Bass player Horst broke his left hand during a bike accident. This means a 6 week break for the bass parts of cyber mortis, which he recorded just in the moment.

This leads to a delay of cyber mortis, now it is not sure that it will be released in autumn.

The name of the new album will be Cyber Mortis.

We recorded one older title "Metal Heart" once again with Tommy. Metal Heart didn't made it for the "Fireball", but Tommy's voice is perfect for "Metal Heart".

More song titles will announced soon, we working on that ..., stay tuned.



24.10.2001:



Sad but true, after only one and a half year with the same line up, we have to state that Markus will leave the band.

He will study six month next year in US and therefore he preferred to quit stormhammer.

We all regret this step, but without this decision we definitely would have had some problems concerning out next CD (Cyber Mortem), on which we will start to work in November and hopefully the tour in spring.

We loose a very good musician and friend, but everyone has to take his way ...

We feel very sorry and Century Media Records also !

The booklet of the Cold Desert Moon CD is misprinted, the colors are not correct. There will be the opportunity for all of you, who bought the cd already to send the wrong booklet to Century media and will receive a proper one.

We will announce when this is ready to go.

Again we feel very sorry and of course we're disappointed too.

The Readers of Metal Heart Magazine voted us Newcomer band 2000 !

This is a very great compliment for us. and we made rank 8 in the category

We changed the name of the song of the new album and therefore the name of the album changed too. From the 5. march on we're doing the final mixing in Crown Hill Studio Düsseldorf again with Rudi Kronenberger.

We had a great tour ! We won lot's of fans and friends (lefay, steel prophet, angel dust).

there is a lot of work to do for me now, I'm writing a tour diary, there will be pictures

of the concerts and videos and the StormShop has do go online too.

06.08.2000: new singer joined



Tommy Lion is the name of the new frontman of StormHammer. We met Tommy in march at a concert and he became a fan of StormHammer. He heard, that Michael quits StormHammer and he offered his help. On friday we had a great session and yesterday we took our final decision.

Tommy is from switzerland, he lives near Zürich and he was the singer of "Drifter" for a long time. Difter was a band from switzerland, which were on tour with manowar and others.

A detailed bio of tommy will be added soon.

Michael Schinkel quits !!!

Michael decided to quit Stormhammer. He works on his own project Eternal Flame for a long time, where he plays the lead guitar too. And he is an exeptional guitar player. He found himself unable to efford the time for both, StormHammer and Eternal Flame.

We would like to thank him.

For all that we will play the metal attack tour and the Westfalen Festival.
