Warum ist hier alles in Englisch ?
Nachdem die Website neben dem Beruf und allen anderen Bandaktivitäten
erstellt und gepflegt wird ist sie derzeit nur in Englisch.
Eine zweite Sprache würde den Aufwand schlicht einfach verdoppeln und damit
ist es dann fast unmöglich die Site halbwegs aktuell zu halten.
Wir hoffen es schreckt nicht zu Viele ab, bei uns reinzuschauen und wir
hoffen ihr beisst euch durch.
I'm from the United States. How can I buy the cd ?
You can order the cd's, T-shirts etc., but it is very expensive to send this to
US.
Please check mail order catalogues, they are able to offer the cd at a fairly
good price and they can ship it from US directly.
The Story about the name:
When Manny, Alex, Horst and a drummer started playing together, the name of the
band was Lizard, because Manny, Alex and the drummer played in that band before.
We agreed to change the name of the band, because the music seems few to have in
common with the music of lizard. So we named the band S.P.Q.R. ,which should
have the meaning Small Profit Quick Returns.
After a while we changed the meaning of the name to Savage Pile Quest Rage, but
we were still not satisfied with it. And after all, nobody was able to keep the
name in mind, we finally changed it in:
SteamHammer.
But on the verge of release date of the Promotion CD, we were informed, that
there was a band in the seventies named also Steamhammer.
To avoid any problems with the members of that band, we changed the name once
more. We wanted to stick to the feeling of SteamHammer and we didn't had much
time so we changed the name to:
StormHammer
Finally we think it is well chosen.
I heard about a fantasy role game (mud), in which weapons exists, which are
named stormhammer. If anyone has a picture of this weapon, please let me know.
